Do you need to switch sizes or return an instrument? All size/instrument exchanges are complementary and can be handled at either our Golden Valley or Stillwater store locations or the student’s school during the academic year (where applicable).
Please complete the Returns & Exchanges Form below or contact us by phone or email to schedule an appointment. All of our rental agreements are month-to-month, and may be suspended or terminated at any time once the instrument is returned and received by our staff.
Are you looking to return the instrument for the summer, but planning to continue playing in the fall? We offer a “Summer Return” program where we will suspend your account, once the instrument is returned. While the instrument is in our possession, we will clean it and have it ready for you to be picked up in the fall!
ASA has a full-service workshop of luthiers and repair professionals dedicated to serving the needs of our customers. Whether it is gluing an open seam (a common occurrence in the harsh Minnesota winters), an annual tune-up, or something more substantial. Please call or schedule an appointment – our team is available to assess your instrument, make recommendations for necessary repairs, and provide you with a verbal or written estimate.
All instruments that are rented or purchased through All Strings Attached are covered with a Full Maintenance/Insurance Program or Limited Warranty – and receive priority status in the workshop and a complimentary loaner instrument during repairs.
Please note, due to current repair volume – our workshop availability for outside instruments is generally limited to minor repairs (strings, adjustments, bow rehair, etc.) – we will do our best to assist and are always happy to recommend local string shops for other repairs.
We offer professional Bow Rehair & Repair services for almost any bow. For rehairs, it is typically a one week turnaround and we are happy to provide you with a loaner bow in the meantime. If your bow needs a more significant repair, we are happy to consult with you and provide an estimate for time/cost.

As with most things in life, it is a good idea to have your instrument checked to make sure that everything is in proper working condition. This can be done as needed when something doesn’t sound or feel right – otherwise we recommend routine maintenance such as new strings and bow rehair every 12-24 months.
